If you’re a sports fan, or even if you’re not, a Toronto Blue Jays game at Rogers Centre is a must-do. The energy in the stadium is contagious, and the atmosphere is perfect for a night out with friends. Grab a hot dog and a beer on a warm summer night and cheer on the Jays, or your favorite team and enjoy the excitement of Canada’s favorite baseball team!

Another sports thrill in the city – the Toronto Maple Leafs! Hockey is huge here, and watching the Leafs play live at Scotiabank Arena is an experience you won’t want to miss. The crowd goes wild, and the gameday vibes are incredible. Plus, it’s a great way to bond with friends or meet other sports enthusiasts.

About an hour and a half drive from Toronto is the legendary Niagara Falls. This is an iconic destination, declared one of the seven wonders in all of North America.
Whether you’re getting up close to the falls on a boat tour like the “Maid of the Mist” or enjoying the view from the observation decks, the falls are something you have to experience at least once. It’s also an awesome spot for photos and a fun day trip with friends.

There are many hiking trails along the falls as well and many other tours that you can do. It’s a great trip for families as well as young adults and couples! If you love art, history, or just learning something new, the Royal Ontario Museum is perfect for you.
The ROM is one of the largest museums in North America and houses a wide range of exhibits, from dinosaur fossils to cultural artifacts from all over the world. It’s a great way to spend a few hours while soaking in some culture.
Perfect for little kids as there are plenty of areas for them to learn, as well as a nice date spot making it a top thing to do in Toronto for young adults.
5. Visit Ripley’s Aquarium of Canada
One of my favorite places that we visited was of course the Ripley’s aquarium!
Located near the CN Tower, the aquarium is home to thousands of marine animals, including sharks, stingrays, turtles, sea horse, jellyfish and more!
The underwater tunnel is one of the coolest things here, where you can walk through and see sea life swimming above and all around you. You stand on a conveyor belt and it takes you through the tunnel, no walking, or people standing in your way as you will be up close and personal with the marine life!

Many other cool exhibits, fun facts and places to sit and just observe the beautiful animals around you.
6. Stroll Through Kensington Market
Kensington Market is a funky, eclectic neighborhood that’s perfect for a casual day of exploring. The streets are filled with unique boutiques, vintage shops, street art, and food stalls offering everything from tacos to Jamaican patties. It’s the best place to get a feel for the city’s diversity and creativity.

Tons of fun street food to try from all different cultures. Definitely try a food tour here as it will take you all around the market trying the best and more unique food in Toronto.
7. Take a Walk on the Toronto Islands
If you need a break from the hustle and bustle of downtown, hop on a ferry to the Toronto Islands.
This small group of islands offers amazing views of the city skyline, beaches, and plenty of outdoor activities like biking and kayaking. It’s a peaceful escape without leaving the city.

Hop on a ferry and take a peaceful boat ride around the lake, hang out at the beach or visit the Centreville Amusement Park!
8. Check Out the CN Tower (and the EdgeWalk)
One of the most iconic landmarks in Toronto, the CN Tower offers amazing views of the city from its observation deck. But if you’re feeling extra adventurous, try the EdgeWalk – a thrilling experience where you can walk around the outside of the tower, 356 meters above the ground. It’s definitely not for the faint of heart if you’re scared of heights, but the views are totally worth it!

One of the main attractions in Toronto and a must-visit spot when you’re visiting.
9. Grab a Bite at St. Lawrence Market
If you’re a foodie, you’ll love St. Lawrence Market. This historic market is home to some of the best food vendors in the city. From fresh produce to artisanal cheeses, meat, and baked goods, there’s no shortage of delicious eats here.
I grabbed myself a roast beef and Canadian bacon sandwich. Definitely one of the most unique places to check out when in Toronto and makes for a great spot to visit and have lunch at. So many local vendors, and if you’re really into checking out the food in a certain region, it doesn’t get more local than the St. Lawrence Market.
10. Hang Out at Graffiti Alley
Toronto is known for its street art, and Graffiti Alley is the place to see some of the best. This colorful alley is filled with vibrant murals, tagging, and graffiti from local artists. It’s a perfect spot to snap some cool Instagram photos and get a taste of Toronto’s urban art scene.

Even if you’re not into the whole art scene, this is still a very cool area to grab a bite to eat and check out in Toronto for young adults.
11. Catch a Show at Second City Toronto
For a night full of laughs, check out a comedy show at Second City Toronto. This world-renowned improv comedy club has launched the careers of many famous comedians, and the shows are always fresh and hilarious.
