There really is nothing I love more than staying in a small town with local cafes, shops and restaurants. Towns with beautiful picturesque scenery the moment I step out the door of my hotel. Enjoying my morning coffee while staring at the mountains or the ocean and just taking in where I am at that present moment.

If you’re seeking a charming getaway away from the hustle and bustle of major cities, the USA is home to some of the most stunning small towns that offer natural beauty, rich culture, and outdoor adventure. We stayed here for a night and I wish we had stayed longer because it was incredible! The energy, the atmosphere was all unmatched. We got to see a free Jon Pardy concert in the town square and everyone in the town came out! Highly recommend staying in Jackson Hole for a few nights because you never know what you may get to experience!

2. Gardiner, Montana

Located just outside the north entrance of Yellowstone National Park, Gardiner is a quiet, picturesque town with incredible access to wildlife, geothermal features, and outdoor adventures. The town offers a small-town atmosphere with charming bed-and-breakfasts and local shops. Visitors can explore the stunning Yellowstone River, take in views of the surrounding mountains, or spot wildlife like elk, bison, and grizzly bears. Gardiner’s location makes it an excellent base for exploring the beauty of the park while enjoying a more serene experience.

Located right along the “Yellowstone River” you can even go white water rafting at one of the local companies called “Flying Pig”

You must check out “Tumbleweed Bookstore & Cafe” while you’re here. It’s a local coffee shop with some of the best coffee I’ve had. The owners and workers were so friendly and welcoming as well and it’s in the perfect spot to start your day!

If you’re flying into Bozeman then this is the town to stay when you come to visit Yellowstone. About an hour and a half drive from the airport. There are also a few country bars as well with line dancing, bands and local food

We will be heading here in two months to the Utah road trip and I couldn’t be more excited! There is base jumping, rope swinging, zip lining and more. The town is beautiful and the place we’re staying is a very nice and reasonably priced as well!

The surrounding desert landscape is home to iconic red rock formations and canyons,, making it a great spot for hiking, mountain biking, and off-roading. After a day of adventure, visitors can enjoy local craft beer and dine in the town’s cozy eateries.
