1. Sandtraps @ The Canmore Golf & Curling Club
This unique restaurant is located inside the Canmore Golf & Curling Club. Whether you’re visiting in the summer or winter you can stop by here for a bite to eat after your round of golf, or after a curling session. Never played Curling before? Try your hand at it at this beautiful club! When you’re done stop by the restaurant for some great casual dining food while taking in the beautiful sites of the Canadian Rockies in the background.
This is a great place to have a meal any time you are in the Canmore area. Their patio overlooks the golf course and water and is usually not too busy. Great selection and variety of beers, the food was delicious and the service was very friendly.

2. Rocky Mountain Bagel Company
One of our favorite breakfast spots was the Rocky Mountain Bagel Company located off of main street in Canmore. They had tremendous quick breakfast such as coffee, bagels, breakfast sandwiches, hash browns and more. Take your meal to go or dine in.
If you go in the summer time when the weather is warmer you can eat outside or on the rooftop! We enjoyed a quick breakfast but the view from the rooftop was incredible. Fast and friendly service, although be sure to get here early because it is a popular spot and the line gets rather long.

This place also just isn’t a breakfast spot, you can come here for lunch as well if you’re looking for something quick and easy but still great quality.
3. Murrieta’s Mountain Bar &Grill
If you’re looking for something a little more fancy, this restaurant offers gourmet steaks, seafood and beautiful scenic mountain views. This place is definitely on the higher side when it comes to cost, but the quality and atmosphere of the restaurant do make it worth it.
The main dining floor is very open with large clear windows that show the gorgeous outside scenery of the Canadian Rockies. The staff was friendly, several TV’s located in the bar area as well. You will not go wrong coming to Murrieta’s for a nice luxurious meal when in Canmore.
4. The Grizzly Paw Pub
The Grizzly Paw Pub is a staple of the Canmore Restaurants and one of the most popular places to eat. It may come off as a bit of a tourist trap, but it’s definitely not, and a very fun and inviting atmosphere. The outdoor seating area is lovely and of course offers tremendous views of the mountains.
With dozens of options for local beers and ciders, to traditional brew house style food such as burgers, chicken sandwiches, fish and chips, chicken wings, flatbread pizza as well as local Canadian delicacies such as Poutine, you really can not go wrong here.

5. Iron Goat Pub & Grille
The Iron Goat Pub is another very unique restaurant in Canmore. A lodge-like interior gives it a very warm and cozy dining experience. It’s a three-story bar with a winding wooden staircase as well as an outdoor patio area so you can gaulk at the mountaisn while enjoy your meal.
The food is delicious with many Canadian delicacies on the menu. Truly feels like you’re in a Canadian lodge. The atmosphere is one of the best there is in Canmore and the service is super friendly and accommodating. And if you’re like me, i love trying the local beers wherever I’m traveling, and this place, like the other Canmore Restaurants mentioned here, as tons of options and flights!

6. Rustica
Rustica is a golf resort located at the top of Silver Tip Rd. A truly beautiful resort with a fine dining experience.

Rustica Steakhouse offers an upscale dining experience with fantastic views of the surrounding peaks. Known for its exceptional steaks and seafood, it’s an ideal place for a romantic dinner or a special occasion, all while overlooking the beauty of Canmore and the Canadian Rockies!
Head there for lunch, after a round of golf or a nice relaxing dinner after a day of exploring the National Park.
7. Table Food + Drink
This lovely Canadian Bistro is located right along Bow Valley Trail which is one of the main roads that runs through Canmore. We stopped here for brunch on our last day in Canmore and it was really a delectable experience.

This place has large windows with a stunning view of the mountains, offering a perfect spot to enjoy fresh, farm-to-table dishes. Table Food + Drink provides both indoor and outdoor seating, so you can take advantage of the incredible views while enjoying their seasonal menu.
The atmosphere is very nice and refreshing and the menu is very broad from brunch to lunch and dinner, so feel free to come at any time of day.
